CNC Programmer & Operator
This is the heart of our workshop: a hands-on machinist who does it all. You'll work primarily on our horizontal boring mills (Bohrwerk) and CNC lathes - programming directly at the machine control, setting up your own jobs, running them, and standing behind the quality of every part that comes off your machine. From drawing to finished part - it's yours.
What You'll Do
- Program and operate horizontal boring mills (Bohrwerk) and CNC lathes directly at the control (G-code / conversational)
- Set up machines, fixtures, and tooling for new production runs
- Operate and monitor machines through complete jobs
- Measure and inspect parts, holding tight tolerances
- Fine-tune programs, speeds, and feeds for better cycle times
- Work from technical drawings and 3D models
What You Bring
- 2–3+ years working with horizontal boring mills (Bohrwerk), CNC lathes, or milling machines
- Confident reading of technical drawings and tolerances
- Solid command of G-code and M-code
- Independent setup skills - you run your machine start to finish
- An eye for detail and pride in your work
